AK Party Spokesperson Çelik: "An important threshold has been crossed today! State institutions are on high alert against provocations."

Speaking ahead of the AK Party 's Kızılcahamam Camp, which will take place tomorrow, and also assessing the PKK terrorist organization 's disarmament process, AK Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik said, "As our President stated, all these processes will take place in line with one state, one flag, one homeland. This will not be a process that will offend the memory of our cherished martyrs or our nation."

Çelik made the following statements at the press conference;

"Tomorrow morning, our program will officially begin with the speech of our President. The speech will take place around 10:00.

"AN IMPORTANT THRESHOLD HAS BEEN CROSSED TODAY"

Today is a significant day in our political history. A significant milestone has been crossed. Our President's call to "strengthen the domestic front" was a call aimed at strengthening Türkiye in both foreign and domestic policy.

With Mr. Bahçeli's response to this call, the policy of a Terror-Free Turkey has begun to be discussed publicly. Today, after going through various stages, steps have been taken toward disarmament and the dissolution of the PKK. Today, a significant milestone has been crossed; the first step has been taken.

Throughout this entire process, Mr. Devlet Bahçeli's comments, interventions and guidance, and the coordination provided by the instructions of our President, have demonstrated the will to achieve a Terror-Free Türkiye.

Taking the first step, starting with a PKK group laying down its arms and continuing the process uninterrupted, is of paramount importance. Given the realities and developments in the region, we know that many groups may be attempting provocations.
